Mauricio Pochettino is whoring himself gently.
“When I was at PSG, I knew Tottenham would never want to sell Harry. And I never wanted to do anything that would affect Tottenham, because I love Tottenham.”
What struck me about his column in The Athletic, is that he had the front to paint himself as a masterful coach, one that had been keeping Harry Kane on the straight and narrow.
The ghost-written piece runs with a tag line that says Poch: The Only man to coach Kane and Mbappe on their rare talents…

Alessandro Bastoni has poured very cold water on what everybody was once calling a done deal.
The defender told Corriere dello Sport:
“There was some contact with Tottenham last summer, it’s true but I’m happy with my choice. I’m happy here at Inter and I hope Milan Škriniar will stay here too”.
It certainly doesn’t sound as if he’s planning on a move to us in the summer. Or ever, for that matter.
