SPEAKER 4
Hi Ange, we didn't see Sonny at training this morning. Is he okay? Is there any other injury news? No, the ones missing today, Sonny was a bit sore after the weekend. He was never going to be involved tomorrow anyway because he missed a bit.
0:15
So we're just leaving him out of tomorrow and see how he is from there. Jed Spence trained individually today. Everyone else was out there. Troy Parrott's coming back to Spurs, having only left permanently in the summer. He was here for seven years, only played a handful of games and none under you.
0:36
How do you reflect on his time here and did he get a proper chance? Yeah, look, you know, I think it's good to see Troy doing well. I think he had a great line spell last year in the Dutch league and He's looking like he started his career in positive fashion too,

Ange Postecoglou Tottenham v AZ Alkmaar MD-1 press conference 23.10.24.m4v

00:27 - Son: bit sore but was never playing tomorrow.

01:02 - Troy Parrott: Good to see him doing well. Started his AZ career well.

02:00 - Fiery spurs?: Not an accurate description of what I saw. It wasn’t that feisty of a game.

03:16 - Well set European team?: We’ve started the competition well. First game we had 10 men, then away in Hungary. We’ve exposed our younger players.

04:05 - Short corners: We think it’s an effective way to do them. On Saturday our set pieces were poor.

04:50 - Richarlison to start?: Yeah, he got through the weekend. He’s ready to go.

05:08 - Odobert?: We have to be careful with him. He’ll be involved in the squad.

05:43 - I think I know more about Dutch football than van de Ven. We played AZ when I was at Celtic.

TRAINING FOR EUROPE

06:49 - Van de Ven development: He developed late but quickly. His journey has gone very quickly.

08:03 - Influenced by Dutch football: Great influence. Total football is when I fell in love with the game. 1974 was the pinnacle of football.

09:25 - Mistake to get fined?: We handled it the best we could.

10:07 - UCL: What happens next year happens next year, where it takes us is secondary.

11:15 - Chance to manage in Holland?: No. I’ve always had ties with people in Dutch football. All legends in their own way.

12:33 - the anniversary of Bill Nicholson death: I fell in love with the game, I’ve always had a keen interest in history. Had a great fascination in great managers. He’s one of few that will leave a lasting mark.

14:08 - Similarities to how your team wants to play: I like to think what I’m doing is in line with the club

We should beat FC Alcoholics, surely?

Not that Bergvall and Gray are anywhere near his level but Lamine is 17 and might be the best player in the world already so play the kids Ange ffs.

And Moore too instead of Werner.

He’s totally oblivious to what we in the real

World see and what he see’s.

Unbelievable Jeff

This game is the perfect opportunity to give Mikey Moore a run out at home, under the lights against a team that will probably give him plenty of space. Lets see what the lad is made of, there is absolutely no merit in playing Werner.
