Estonia are perhaps not amongst the world’s elite footballing sides, however, it is pleasing to see a Spurs player do well for his country and Deki was in the thick of it.
Who knew that playing a player in his natural position would benefit not just the player but team, club and country. Funny, even England looked more balanced with a left footed left back the other night.
Kulu definitely has arsehole , he possesses no little skill and probably has good leadership skills [ captains Sweden ] and I think that a Captains arm band at Spurs is something he might wear with pride and possibly incite a further increase in output . Think he is much maligned -- too much in fact .
Be interesting to see what price his 'dissenters ' put on his head . Personally , no less than £45m ??
If he's settled in that role for his country it's time to switch him.
Time to compete with Maddison there, it's not like we have much cover for him in AM.
We have Johnson and Moore for the right side, plus maybe Porro could cover that role sometimes. We should have kept Solomon as cover for that spot but that's another story.
Kulu is not a winger - he is an attacking midfielder. He should be rotated with Madders or alongside him against the weaker teams. Shift Porro up to right wing and bin Johnson.
I find it less than surprising that most of our players on international duty play well. After all, they are playing in a system that benefits them, have clear instruction on what to do, and know what their roles and responsibilities are.
When they get back they get Angeball. A clueless and headless chicken of a system.
Without question -- and also without doubt , despite the opposition , that was a dynamic , resourceful , and highly skilled performance from Kulu . There are times when he takes on the look of a classy ball player , but occasionally he looks a sluggish right winger with only a left foot . He can be frustrating and brilliant in the course of seconds and is - without question our most productive winger . I would hate to lose him .
Bit highlight reel type thing for me, an the level of the opponent can't be discounted. I haven't seen him have an influential game for Spurs in well over six months...
Unlike Johnson, there is a player in there who, with the right development, management and system could flourish. Johnson is the guy who gets bullied by the flat track bullies. Can't teach bottle, you've either got it or you haven't.
Right lads ............... it's Estonia.

Rocket science it is then ..

Agreed. He's an attacking midfielder though I think he could do a job sitting a bit deeper, could be rotated with Bentancur too.
Trouble is SP, that idea simply reeks of common sense
He's a flat track bully, for both club and country. Estonia, and there it is again...
