Everybody had worked it out about Partey. Amazing timing to charge him just after his contract with the Goons is up. But I suppose if the Prime Minister of the country, despite being a bit Roger Nouveau, was a fan and had previously been head of the CPS, he could have pulled some favours…
There's no way Levy is spending that kind of money on a defender. He will however spend a fortune on mediocre dross farther up the field. It will be one of those "we twied" scenarios, but here's Ben Davies reporting for duty.
Yep he’ll spend the same money on four absolute shite players costing double in wages that never get near the first team (unless Ange was the coach and they are all injured with bad hamstrings)
We are doing nothing different to what we normally do with Levy & ENIC.
We’ll be linked to Christ knows how many players up until deadline day. There’ll be the last minute panic buys that don’t fit. The typical square pegs for round holes we normally draft in and then wonder why they don’t get regular game time. Or, if they do they’ll be played out of position and run around like headless chickens made to look busy but bringing nothing to the table.
Then of course we’ll have the PR dept going into overdrive telling us we were in for all the big name players but we all know they chose to go to teams that win stuff instead.
Why compare to VdV and Romero? They never play. Should have compared him to Davies and Danso, the Double D threat (who doesn’t like a pair of Double D’s). Certainly not the Premier League’s top strikers, they love playing with them every game.
Not sure what we are up to, we’ve not signed anyone except a Japanese marketing opportunist, and Arsenal, Manure, Chelsea and Citeh are 3 or 4 players in already.
Classic Levy, we’re going to strike by vainly trying to sign Salah on deadline day with a £20m bid, and then buy a world beater like Conor Chaplin from Ipswich out of desperation.
It’s the same every year. I feel sorry for poor old Thomas, he had quite a good reputation.
Please stop this nonsense.

Absolutely scandalous timing. Not even trying to make it not obvious
Too good for Spurs …

All facts. Same every year. Remember when he tried to buy Sergio Aguero for £36m at 22:35 on deadline day. Absolute performative nonsense.
