I have a simple strategy for prediction of game results . First are we better than them ?

If a yes and no serious injury or suspensions to weaken us , then I believe we can win .

You are very unlikely to beat City , United , Villa or Newcastle if you cant play , despite the gameplan put forward by our esteemed Aussie overlord and I recognise my failing because we get turned over by Ipswich , Leicester et al.

But we are Spurs , we are brought back time and again by our mercurial results and the ability to laugh or cry at the results we obtain [ Skinner & Baddiel could write songs about this ] . My feeling is we will win both matches in convincing manner . I would , wouldn't I -- I'm a Spurs supporter ............................ C O Y S ...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roma are struggling this season, currently 12th in Serie A.They also have a league match on Saturday night,so might put out a weakened team.I suspect they will defend deep, ask us to open them up and hit us on the break.Same tactics by Fulham, they will be much fresher and faster,with,Iwobi,Traore,Smith-Rowe licking their lips taking on Davies,Dragon and Udogie.

We should win tomorrow night, but Fulham is anybody’s guess.

So the 'wafer thin mint' that is, figuratively speaking, Tottenham Hotspur's current squad, is about to be consumed by the Italian and West London equivalents of Mr Creosote! Whether the resulting implosion/explosion, which could be dubbed 'the Tottenham Hotspur Big Bang Theory', will be us or the metaphorical embodiment of the aforementioned Mr Creosote is open to debate! Prognostications?

Well far be it for me to insert a suppository of realism into the rectum of optimism, but if we manage to beat both the Wops and the Cottagers, I will personally chip in a fiver for Levy to buy a back-up keeper! Even Nostradamus would have a hard time predicting a Spurs game these days, about as much chance as Mystic Meg and a bag of tea leaves! OK! A narrow win versus the Wops, followed by a George Michael style embarrassment with the 'Cottagers'!

I think Spurs are easy to predict. I said Ipswich would beat us and we’d get a result v Citeh.

Idk Roma that well as I don’t pay much attention to Serie A but Ranieri should have them up for it so I suspect at best we draw against them and then get turned over by Fulham at the weekend as salty Noel predicts.

I checked up on Roma AL. Currently in 12th place in Serie A and with a poor away record, including against us historically. I think with the feel good factor carrying over from the City game, we should scrape a victory in that one. However, I don't believe we have the squad depth to win three in a row in the space of a week. So, like Noel, I see the Fulham game as another banana skin. Hope I'm wrong!

Don’t underestimate the new coach bounce and Ranieri certainly knows how to setup against us.

It’s not really surprising to me. We play better against teams that don’t sit back and pack the middle and struggle against the try hards like Ipswich whom we often take for granted as if we can take anyone for granted having 1 trophy in 30 years.
