As Ange said, he was only ever concerned about the team he supported and I’m exactly the same.

Back in the Wenger heydays half of my best mates were gooners.

Coming from N21 - It’s a 50/50 split. We’d have gooners in our bar for the 3pm KO & the Spurs fans started to drift in for the 5:30. It was always good banter. Them lot winning the PL won’t bother or affect my life in the slightest.

There is no way I want us to lose and if Villa should slip up (I think they will) then the game takes on a different meaning.

However, I cannot see us winning and as others have said we’ll get the point(s) at Sheffield and Europa is our level, just, but it’s a winnable trophy next year IF we have the right structure in place.

The only snippets of hope is that Ange has referred to, on more than one occasion, plans for the summer started in January.

Simply a summer not piss balling about with players until deadline day, would be a step in the right direction.

I cannot wait for Levy’s annual program notes tomorrow where he will tell the fanboys of how glorious days are being built.

On a side note, I can tell you with great authority the embarrassing levels Levy went to, to try & get Robbie Williams to do a couple of nights either side of his Hyde Park Gig in July.

No manager is going to go along with being ok with losing to Citeh to stop Woolwich winning the title. However, he talks about growth and process yet this needs to be taken with some kind of context. We've been lectured about 'growth' and endless 'processes' for the last 23 years and have one minor trophy to show for it. We are as far away from winning anything as we've ever been, despite the wonders of Ange Ball.

Personally, I hope we lose to Citeh as we have nothing to play for because your coaching methods have seen us surrender Champions League qualification (if that even matters), you're out of your depth. As well as stopping fucking Woolwich fans lauding it over us as a result of a comedic outcome if we beat Citeh, it might just help push you and your bollocks about "growth" and "process" closer to the exit door. Mate.

I want Citeh to win, purely because along with Woolwich, they aren't an irrelevant football club, like we are...

They are perennial winners. Our fanbase needs to stop making excuses

Ain't that the truth.

They all start out great. New car smell. It doesn’t take long to discover the limitations of a thin squad inadequately backed. Results turn sour.

The tactics or in this case lack thereof are questioned. Then comes the anger. Anger Postecoglu.

Ultimately the resignation sets in.

Nothing will ever change until ENIC sell.

Let's be honest here, if Villa win tonight, versus Liverpool, then the final CL spot is theirs. In which case there is no way on Earth I hope that we nick something tomorrow night, in what becomes a meaningless game, to hand the title to the scum down the road!

Having said that it's highly fanciful, with the way we are defending, especially from set pieces, that we get anything out of tomorrow's game in the natural scheme of things. Nevertheless if Liverpool beat Villa, a win over City, as implausible as it might seem, keeps our CL hopes alive.

Whether playing in the CL next season, would be preferable to the EL, other than from a financial perspective, is another question altogether, given the decline in the team's performances under Ange since Xmas. Either way I expect City to be holding the EPL trophy aloft come next weekend.

I agree. If top 4 was in our hands I'd want to win. We are clutching at straws though and for good reason. As a result, I wont mind losing this one. Having seen the run of form City are in and how we have been, it would be fanciful to think we can win. We wont lose to Sheff Utd and so 5th will do.

Has anyone seen the Arsenal skit on Spurs?Ostensibly it's a campaign to cheer Spurs fans up, but the only features are embarrassing Arsenal moments displayed in a trophy room (toilet). It's very funny (at our expense), and it would be good if one of you more tech savvy than me could find this little video and post it here.

It comes to something though when our only joy is the hated Liverpool and Arsenal not winning the league, and we are sort of rooting for the City side which duffed up Vicario earlier in the season.

I always want Spurs to win, but I won't be as gutted as usual if we go down fighting tomorrow night.

With a more imaginative manager prepared to gamble and shuffle the pack we would have a chance. With Ange, not so much.

This debate is purely academical. Run-in City are a completely different beast to the team we usually beat at home.

When there are actual stakes involved (the infamous Ryan Mason cup final, or even the FA Cup match this year), both teams do what they invariably do. City move up a gear and Spurs cave.

Meanwhile Chelsea have found another clever loophole to finance their ambitious transfer plans this season...they're selling the Cobham training ground to a subsidiary.

Meanwhile we'll moan, grumble and claim poverty again...and choke on the dust of our neighbours.

I'm not a huge fan of Ange - he's doing as good a job at Spurs as I thought he would - exciting football but being found out by between teams and better tactitions.

He did well to get 5th without a decent goal scorer. I'd hate to see how our previous managers would have faired without Harry Kane 😱

As for the spouting bollox at Press Conferences - I'll forgive him that as I wouldn't want to listen to the same crap questions from journos once or twice a week for a whole season.

But I can't forgive him for the shambles at Set Pieces 🤷🏼‍♂️

His predecessor would have probably done better, golden boot for Son again.

I’m glad Ange has stuck to his guns in style of play, other tried to win with what they were given.

But the last 5 months or so the football has been generally poor baring the odd game or the last 10 min spell.

Dier outed Ange’s tactical prowess, that’s wounded him, and he’s not adapting to that with how he sets his side up and all sides have the counter Angeball playbook now, just some teams are poorer at executing it due to how weak the league has been (29 points only to avoid relegation is farmer league esk)

In total agreement. I wouldn't judge anyone on a press conference. The football did get better, but being fickle fans, there are things to criticise. The set piece situation is horrendous. I just wanted Ange to say "Yeah, it's a problem that we are looking to fix", not just dismiss it.

I simply can't and won't watch Ange's press conferences any more. Apart from the content being bilge, I find myself screaming at him to stop mumbling, coughing and for God's sake look at the questioner. Half the time I can't hear the questions anyway.

Fair points but I think a potential 5th place is also down to the likes of Chelsea, Newcastle, Man Utd, being even less consistent than us as much as some of what Ange did. He caught the rest of the league on the hop but the good managers sussed us out and that's why we've had shocking form in the last half of the season.

And I use consistent in its loosest sense.

I think some of us are dancing about believing there is an element of choice in tomorrow’s result..what is cringe apart from the one man band is being in this position at all.

The more he talks the more I want him to shut the fuck up. I thought politicians had made spouting bollocks an art form but Ange has taken it to a whole new level. Meaningless drivel and empty platitudes.

How does he know what success at this level looks like? He managed to win in a 2 bob league that no-one South of the border gives a flying Mcfuck about. If that's the metric we're using now, just don't bother.
